At Mayflower Hills Baptist Church, we intentionally practice family integrated worship, gathering our entire congregation together rather than dividing the body of Christ into age-segregated programs. We believe that the Holy Spirit works powerfully through the preaching of the Word to spiritually nourish everyone, from the youngest child to the oldest adult. Our goal is to equip and support parents in their God-given responsibility to disciple their children, ensuring our church serves as a resource for the family rather than a replacement.
We believe our primary and eternal purpose is to glorify God through Christ-centered worship. In our services, we prioritize that which is commanded for us in worship: the reading and preaching of the Word alongside congregational singing. We value reverant acoustic music that praises God, offers prayer, and proclaims His truth rather than relying on man-centered entertainment. The purpose of this “regulative principle” is so that we can best encourage one another, build up the church body, and reflect the beauty of God’s holiness in our worship.
We believe that God’s Word is the ultimate, infallible authority for our lives. And so, rather than avoiding difficult passages or relying on our own ideas, we are committed to preaching the “whole counsel of God” through careful, verse-by-verse exposition. The Word of God is precious, and we are committed to preserving and teaching it without compromise.
